I usually spend my time here talking about the “real talk” of life—the inside-out socks, the cold coffee, and the responsibilities we all try to juggle. We focus on the grounded, everyday truths because those are the things that make us feel seen. But sometimes, the most human thing we can do is step away from the “real” for a little while.

Sometimes, we need a place where the rules of gravity don’t apply and the laundry isn’t waiting in a pile by the door.

That is why I am so excited to introduce a new, magical corner of The Pineapple: our brand-new Fiction Section. Since we are a fully digital, we have the space to grow, and I think it’s time we planted something a little more whimsical.

We all love a good routine, but there’s a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from being “on” all the time. This new section is designed to be your quiet exit strategy. It’s a place where you’ll find exciting, fictional stories that take your attention away from the ordinary and drop you directly into someone else’s world.
