Next Week in Brida
Next week, Brida continues with rest.
Not the kind of rest that has to look perfect.
Not the kind that needs a candle, a rulebook, or a special chair.
Just rest as it appears in ordinary life.
In movement.
In sleep.
In busy days.
In emotional weather.
In the small pause before something creative begins again.
Around the tables, we will be asking what helps people recover without disappearing from life. What happens when the body rests by moving? What makes sleep truly restoring? How do we find emotional rest when the week has been full? And what kind of pause helps creativity return without forcing it?
There will be conversations about active rest, sleep that restores, emotional rest, rest in a busy life, and the creative pause.
Some of these conversations may become Pineapple stories. Some may simply stay where they belong: at the table, between the people who were there.
That is also part of Brida.
The Pineapple is not here to extract every moment. It is here to notice what is alive.
So next week, the tables form again.
Quietly.
Normally.
With coffee, questions, interruptions, laughter, and the occasional sentence that stays with us longer than expected.
And maybe, somewhere in the middle of it, rest will become a little less abstract.
Maybe it will become something we can recognise.
