Scouts Queen in the marshmallow tower

Hello eveyone, today I would like to write and tell you about my weekend of the 7th and 8th of February.

I was at the scouts, and we were in Colmar in a house called « Les Sources » in the Vosges. It was really good, but we had a problem with the train “traffic”. The trains were late, so 15 people couldn’t come with us to the house and went back to their homes.

After that, we went to the house, and we went a little bit outside to play some games like volleyball and others. It was so cool because there was not a lot of snow and the weather was sunny (you can see this in the photos). Then we put our stuff in the rooms. We were 9 in my room, so it was really funny. After that, we went to eat a delicious meal. It’s called “Crousiflette”. It’s pasta with cream, cheese and ham.

The night was also cool. My friends Alix and Fanny prepared a play for all the scouts. It was about a city that had lost its king and queen, and to become the new king or queen we had to win the games. The play included a lot of activities like doing a little theatre act and building the biggest tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. My friend Mathilde and I won the game, so we were the two queens of the city!! After the game, we went to bed and slept.

The next day we did some “formation” for the summer camp. For example, at the summer camp I will prepare the menu for the 15 days, so I did the menu formation. We learned how to make a healthy menu and the quantities per person. It was really interesting. After that, we attended the service and saw a Bible story. Then we ate chili con carne, which was delicious!

After that, it was time to pack up our stuff and walk to the bus. We had to walk for 10 minutes, and it was cool because it was sunny.

So we took the bus for 40 minutes from the camp to the train station. We took the train at 5 p.m., and I arrived back home at 7 p.m.

It was a really fun weekend, and I’m very excited for the next one!!!

In celebration of my 4th Wedding Anniversary, these words were mentioned by Bruce during our Lunch meeting. He said “Somebody once said… what was the reason for a successful marriage and they said two words: Yes, dear.” And I had to agree. Dining Without Sight

An Evening Where Darkness Led the Way Two weeks ago, I went to a very special restaurant. When I say special, I don’t mean fancy or extravagant. I mean unusual—something I had never experienced before. The restaurant was in Strasbourg, inside the Hilton Hotel. When you arrive there, everything feels completely normal. Christmas decorations, lights everywhere,…
