Better

Because you exist…

Somewhere out there, a potato just sighed in relief because you exist. Potatoes can be changed into so many things: Fries, chips, potato salad and even vodka! So if a potato can do it, you can do it better!

Someone’s heart does a happy backflip just thinking about your face, your smile or you kindness and care. Even if they don’t even realise it at that very moment. All you have to do is simply exist.

You’re the free Wi-Fi connection for the soul, people feel better just by being near you or talking to you. You might not even realise the effect you have on people, by just being you. Even when you feel drained or not important from time to time, you do matter to the people around you.
Translation? Your existence equals an instant mood upgrade to the people in your surroundings. Like sprinkles on plain ice cream, like confetti in a boring Tuesday, like a llama in sunglasses.  You matter and someone feels happy or better simply because you exist.
Keep sparkling and shining, just the way you do!

It’s the strangest feeling. I don’t feel lazy—in fact, my brain is shouting that I want to…

  • Therapy for the Alarm Clock

An interesting idea emerged from a meeting we had today: “Therapy for the alarm clock.” Now, you are probably leaning back, sipping your coffee, and wondering why on earth a mechanical object would need a therapist. Well, think about it—everybody hates the alarm clock. Whether it is set to wake you up at dawn for…

Imagine someone walking in the street with a big, grey cloud hanging over their head. If they are anything like me, they will hate their wet feet in closed shoes, sloshing along the wet path. They will probably be just as grumpy as the cloud makes them feel. Maybe they are having a very bad…

I’ve been reading a lot of running tips, motivational texts as well as following positive people on Instagram. One thing I keep seeing is, all of them mention “Surround yourself with like-minded people”.
