Sometimes, all you need is a change of company. You’ve had your day. Work, shopping, family, the usual little victories and frustrations. Perhaps nothing remarkable happened. But somewhere else in the world, somebody has had a completely different Wednesday. Wouldn’t it be nice to meet them?
Welcome to Brida Happy Hour. An informal online gathering where people from different countries meet, enjoy a drink and see where the conversation takes them. Nothing to prepare. Nothing to prove. Just bring yourself.
Small talk. And whatever comes next.
It might start with the weather, something you cooked, a place you’ve visited or a funny thing that happened at work. And then somebody says something unexpected. The people make the conversation.

We’re Frank and Janita, your Brida hosts. We enjoy good company, interesting stories, different perspectives and the occasional bit of nonsense. English is the language we share. Perfect English isn’t required. We’re much more interested in what you have to say.
No lessons. No presentations. No networking or sales pitches.
Stay a little. Or stay a while.
Arrive whenever you like during the gathering. Stay for twenty minutes or the whole two hours. Bring a coffee, a glass of wine, a beer or whatever you fancy. We keep the gathering small, with no more than eight paying guests. Janita may leave after the first hour; Frank keeps the Café open until closing.
€10. No strings attached.
One €10 ticket gives you access to one Happy Hour. No subscription, membership requirement or obligation to come again. Perhaps you’ll leave thinking: “That was a rather nice way to spend an evening.” We’d be happy with that.

Happy Hour booking conditions
Tickets cost €10 per person for the selected date and cover flexible entry during that gathering. Eight guest places are available per gathering; hosts do not use guest places. Leaving early does not transfer your ticket to another person. Payment and confirmed reservation are required before joining instructions are sent. A ticket does not create a subscription or membership.
Cancel at least 48 hours before the gathering for a refund of the ticket price. Later cancellations and non-attendance are normally non-refundable, subject to applicable statutory rights. If Brida cancels the gathering, we will offer a full refund or, if you prefer, a place on a different date. Contact Brida for cancellation or access problems.
Please treat everyone respectfully. Sharing everyday work stories is welcome; unsolicited sales pitches, recruiting and organised networking are not. Do not record, transcribe or photograph other guests without their permission. Your booking contact details are used to arrange the gathering and are not an automatic subscription to promotional emails.
